Most recently, Lamar released “Not Like Us’ in 2024, which was loved by the majority. Lamar also performed his famous song at the Super Bowl 59 event on Sunday. However, NBA star Kevin Durant wasn’t a big fan of his performance.

When asked what he thought of the halftime show by Dana Scott of The Arizona Republic on Monday, Durant stated, “It meant nothing to me.”

This was despite James having good ties with Drake, which left the Canadian upset. However, Durant chose to remain loyal to Drake till the end. In addition, Kevin Durant also said that ‘he kind of skimmed through it (Super Bowl Halftime show).’ Notably, Drake fans as well as some NBA fans were quick to show love for Durant after the star’s recent remarks.

Anthony Edwards, a standout for the Minnesota Timberwolves, revealed last year that Durant only listens to Drake during their time at the Summer Olympics in Paris. Beyond simply enjoying Drake’s music, Durant has a deeper bond with him. The New York Post claims that the two genuinely spend time together, as they did on Canada Day.
