WWE Raw made its long-awaited debut on Netflix Monday night with a spectacular lineup. Besides the splashing feats, the viewers did not leave their seats during New Day’s surprise appearance at the commercial break. As a part of their script, the team’s Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston seemingly took a long shot at rapper Kendrick Lamar over Drake.

Kendrick Lamar and Drake have divided the whole world into two with their long beef. The sensation did not stop as New Day brought it up again at WWE Raw premiered Monday night. Standing on the grounds of Inglewood, California, Xavier Woods quipped that for the past six months, the people had been lifting an inferior rapper. Name-dropping Kendrick Lamar got the duo a whole wave of boos. Taking over the mic, Kofi Kingston encouraged the boos and directed it at Lamar, further suggesting that Drake won the beef.

The statement further sent the crowd into a frenzy. Kendrick Lamar made waves with his music, taking over a majority. Several athletes as well as sports commentators, such as Stephen A. Smith, have praised Lamar for setting the bar. However, all comes secondary as the Los Angeles native evidently got the support from his roots.

In an unofficial unanimous call, the internet credits Lamar for winning the beef with his back-to-back diss tracks on Drake. One such, ‘Not Like Us’, has been a global hit for the LA rapper. All the achievements further wreaked havoc in the arena as the fans were stunned by New Day’s statements.

Twitterverse in splits over New Day’s claims about Kendrick Lamar and Drake

Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston’s take on the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef has been sardonically humbling for the fans. The users immediately took to platform X as the clip started circulating on the internet.

Despite the internet crediting Kendrick Lamar as the winner, Drake’s position as an icon in the music industry remains intact. The latter’s significant contribution and longevity in the rap scene can never go unnoticed regardless of any rapper emerging more relevant to the masses.
