LeBron James and Stephen A. Smith have unknowingly broken the internet after the Los Angeles Lakers superstar confronted the ESPN analyst during his game last night. The confrontation was about Bronny James and how the media has been talking about him.

Smith revealed on First Take that James had confronted him about those negative comments about his son. He did not feel the 40-year-old superstar was wrong to do so, just that he did it in public instead of calling him or meeting with him privately.

After the show, Smith took to his podcast to further talk about the subject. He made it clear that he would not have talked about it if clips of their argument did not go viral. Now away from FCC rules about profane language, he revealed what James actually said.

He approached me during the game, and he said, ‘Stop f**king with my son’. I saw how furious he was. I knew what he was talking about. I heard that a few players were upset with me about that. One player in particular was Draymond Green, who has no desire to speak to me primarily because of this I suppose.

Stephen A. Smith said

Smith clarified that he understood LeBron James‘ frustrations were due to what he and others on ESPN said about Bronny James prior to the draft. However, he reiterated that those comments were directed at the Los Angeles Lakers superstar due to his actions.

But he understands that it has been construed as a slight towards the Lakers rookie. Stephen A. Smith believes those comments also led to Draymond Green stopping any communications with him. That is despite mending their relationship after last season’s outburst.
