The demand for a women’s mid-card title has surged in recent months. The WWE women’s division has increasingly become more competitive than ever before. In the past, the company primarily focused on its top female stars, leaving others to struggle for opportunities. Today, however, the promotion boasts a strong and thriving female mid-card. Both fans and superstars, including Drew McIntyre, are now calling for the introduction of such a title to the main roster.

Speaking to FOX News, McIntyre asserted that introducing such a women’s championship to the WWE main roster was fully justified due to the sheer depth of the roster. The Women’s Revolution had taken place nearly a decade ago. Female wrestlers are no longer considered a rising division, but are on par with the men.

Other top WWE superstars such as Bianca Belair have also spoken out in demand for a women’s mid-card championship. The EST argued that the roster was very stacked. This title would help women get more screen time on WWE programming. The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion may not have to wait for much longer. Recent reports suggest that such a title is already in the works.

There’s so many characters the women’s division has gotten over now. We’re at a point where if there’s a second title introduced, it’s absolutely justified.

It appears that WWE used its developmental brand as a prototype to test out the possibility of a women’s mid-card title on the main roster. A few months ago, the promotion introduced the NXT Women’s North American Championship. Kelani Jordan was then crowned as the inaugural champion at NXT Battleground. Since winning the title, she has put on incredible matches against Sol Ruca, Tatum Paxley, and others.

Drew McIntyre asserts that Dave Bautista’s Hall of Fame induction is long-due

Dave Bautista is one of the most successful professional wrestlers of all time, who went on to find major success in Hollywood. Drew McIntyre recently got a chance to work with the 55-year-old on the movie The Killer’s Game. Perhaps this project has made the Scottish Warrior have some new-found appreciation for the former World Heavyweight Champion, as he strongly advocated for his induction into the Hall of Fame.

During the same interview, McIntyre asserted that it is time for Dave Bautista to go into the Hall of Fame. The company wants to do it, and it was only a case of when The Animal is ready. Despite earning so much success in wrestling and the movies, he was still the same humble, introverted and nice guy that he used to be.

Bautista was actually supposed to be inducted in 2023 ahead of WrestleMania 39. However, a movie commitment kept him occupied and he was unable to be inducted that year. Given his tremendous success in professional wrestling and contribution to the business, his being added to the hall of fame is inevitable.
