Drew McIntyre was slapped with an indefinite suspension by Nick Aldis in the wake of the Scot’s unrestrained actions on last week’s SmackDown. Later on, a report from PWInsider noted that it was a way to write the former WWE Champion off television so as to allow him to shoot the role that he landed in Highlander.

However, it got proven wrong for the time being after McIntyre showed up during the dying minutes of this week’s SmackDown. The Ayr-born wrestler pushed Jimmy Uso off the top rope but faced immediate resistance from Jey Uso, who, in turn, got speared through a table by Bron Breakker.

‘The Scottish Warrior’ linked up with The Vision’s newfound associate Logan Paul, and the two smiled at each other after ‘The Maverick’ knocked out ‘Big Jim’.

Cody Rhodes, who had his Undisputed WWE title defense against Bronson Reed end up in a DQ after Breakker took him out at ringside, entered the ring and started throwing jabs at McIntyre and Paul. However, the numbers were against him, and the ex-AEW EVP eventually ate a Claymore kick. Rhodes was then laid out for Reed to flatten him with a tsunami.

After wiping out The Usos and Rhodes, the Vision stood tall. Moreover, a mighty proud Paul Heyman handed over the contract he’d been carrying all night long to McIntyre.

The latter then shook hands with ‘The Wiseman’ and joined forces with Breakker, Reed, and Paul as their fourth man for the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series. The fans were chanting for Roman Reigns at the end, but he was nowhere to be found.

Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar are rumored for MSG Raw to complete the WarGames lineups

As just mentioned, the crowd in Albany wanted Roman Reigns to even things up for the babyfaces after Drew McIntyre agreed to align himself with The Vision on SmackDown. Even though ‘The Tribal Chief’ didn’t show up last night, his return is getting closer with Survivor Series just a couple of weeks away. ‘The OTC’ hasn’t been around since suffering a loss to Bronson Reed at Crown Jewel.

There’s heavy speculation that the former Bloodline leader will finally join the team of CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, and The Usos on this week’s Raw at Madison Square Garden. Considering the babyfaces will be backed by the services of Reigns, who’s going to be the final member of The Vision?

It’s not a hard nut to crack that Paul Heyman has already secured Brock Lesnar for that role after their previous on-screen interactions. ‘The Oracle’ even formally introduced ‘The Beast’ against John Cena, just like the old times at Wrestlepalooza. Lesnar hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since trouncing Cena, but one could expect him to pull up on Raw this Monday, pretty much like Reigns.

What would John Cena’s role be at Survivor Series after the WarGames omission?

At one point, there were rumors of John Cena being on the same team as Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, and The Usos. However, that dream lineup didn’t become a reality, as Jimmy Uso made it through. Now that it’s known that Cena is essentially out of the WarGames situation, what does he have left to do at Survivor Series?

The most logical and obvious booking would be him defending his Intercontinental Championship at the PLE. ‘The Cenation Leader’ beat Dominik Mysterio for the title on Raw this past Monday to complete a career grand slam in WWE. Yesterday, he announced on X that he will wrestle on Raw at MSG in what will be his final appearance on a weekly episodic WWE show.

It’d be interesting to see who would end up facing the Peacemaker star this Monday. It’s quite likely that Cena will have his Survivor Series opponent set up during Raw. ‘Dirty Dom’ could demand a rematch for the title he just lost. Knowing that Survivor Series is in San Diego, which happens to be Mysterio’s birthplace, he’s more than likely to challenge Cena that night.
