The feud between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre continues to heat up each week on Raw. On the latest edition, the latter was looking around for his rival all over the arena. After not being able to find him and getting highly frustrated, he left the arena, only for the former MMA fighter to arrive a few seconds later.
Although he missed him in the arena, Drew McIntyre unsurprisingly continued the feud on social media. He uploaded a video on X of him burning an autographed picture of CM Punk. He held the photo until most of it turned to ash and then threw it to the ground. The Scottish Warrior obtained this photo last week on Raw when he was hilariously trolled by the Chicago native.
During the WWE Draft last week, the Voice of the Voiceless dared his opponent to come get him in the skybox seats. By the time the Chosen One made his way up the arena, the Best in the World had vanished. All he found in the skybox was an autographed photo of the 45-year-old.
The two narrowly missed out on crossing paths this week on Raw. The former AEW Champion arrived late to the show as he had been locked in WWE Headquarters over the weekend. Despite him challenging the 2020 Royal Rumble winner to come back to the arena to get him, the two did not collide this week on Raw.
Drew McIntyre takes a shot at CM Punk by comparing him to a football club
In an interview with The Daily Star, Drew McIntyre was asked to compare his arch-nemesis to a Scottish football club. The Scottish Warrior wondered which team had players constantly hurting themselves and getting injured. Therefore, he mentioned that Inverness Caledonian Thistle F.C. kept popping into his mind.
The 38-year-old added that he was trying to think of a team that had a random bit of glory a couple of times and was still living off that. Finally, he compared CM Punk to the Celtic Football Club. The WWE Universe hilariously pointed out that his analogy did not have the effect he was hoping it would. For those unfamiliar, the Celtic Football Club is the most successful club in the Scottish League’s history.
I’m trying to think of a team that had a random bit of glory a couple of times and live off of that. That would be Celtic, wouldn’t it?

The WWE Universe cannot wait for this feud to finally get physical and take place in the ring. The former WWE Champion is unable to get his hands on his opponent due to an elbow injury that he is responsible for himself. However, with Punk looking better day by day, fans hope that the match will take place sooner rather than later.
