The past 365 days or so have been absolutely tumultuous for Drew McIntyre. Apart from some dips in lows, the Scot rose like a phoneix.

2024 was the year wherein Drew McIntyre turned it up to 11 and cemented his spot at the top of the food chain in WWE. Looking back, there were a number of moments featuring Drew that made the fans go gaga; however, the Scot has come up with a top 5 list of his own.
Via TikTok, he put his iconic entrance from Clash at the Castle at #5. At the PLE, the Inveraray and District Pipe Band played ‘Scotland the Brave’ before McIntyre came out to a roaring local crowd reaction. He took on Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight title but was screwed over by CM Punk in the end. Breaking Punk’s triceps at the Royal Rumble was Drew’s #4 moment.
Next, when SmackDown was in Chicago, McIntyre left Punk a bloody mess. The Scottish Psychopath carried The Best in the World’s carcass on his shoulders before dumping him on the entrance stage. Before exiting, Drew seized Punk’s beloved bracelet.
One of the most meme-worthy lines of the year stemmed from McIntyre’s diabolical promo about The Second City Saint on Raw after injuring him at the Royal Rumble. Staring down at a subdued Punk, Drew said, “I prayed for this, and it happened.” That has since gone on to become a viral internet meme. Hence, it came in at #2 for Drew.
The best moment McIntyre’s had in 2024 on a personal level was when he handed over the world title to his wife at WrestleMania XL. Everything was perfect until the Ayr-born grappler started talking trash with Punk, who was on commentary. Then it just went downhill for Drew. He got cashed-in on by Priest, thus ending his title reign at 5 minutes and 46 seconds.
Drew McIntyre set for major grudge match on Raw’s Netflix debut
After capping off arguably the greatest rivalry of his career to date with CM Punk, Drew McIntyre already knows what’s next. He’s hellbent on taking out each and every member of the OG Bloodline who has wronged him in the past.

This Monday, on the Netflix premiere of Raw, the 39-year-old will take on Jey Uso. Uso was the first victim of Drew when the latter made his return to Raw in December. In the meantime, while Jey was out, McIntyre took care of Sami Zayn.
He even journeyed to SmackDown to entrust Solo Sikoa with the onus of destroying Roman Reigns in their scheduled Tribal Combat. Things are ultimately leading to a Drew vs. Reigns showdown. However, it’d be interesting to see when that actually happens.
