As The High Chief of The Bloodline, The Rock holds a pivotal role in the family’s dominance. Naturally, anyone opposing his family would be expected to clash with him as well. However, that isn’t always the case—one WWE superstar holds deep respect for The Final Boss, despite their issues with The Bloodline and Roman Reigns.

Speaking to Daily Star, Drew McIntyre revealed he holds no hard feelings toward The Rock. In fact, he has immense respect for The Final Boss. The Scottish Warrior acknowledged his issues with The Bloodline, stating his problems lie with those who have wronged him. In contrast, The Great One has always supported him through tough times.

No, I hate people that wronged me personally. If somebody wronged me, I have an issue with them, just like anybody in real life. The Rock has actively looked out for me my whole career since I was a kid.

He said since then he has always looked up to Dwayne Johnson for necessary guidance and respect. Moreover, McIntyre revealed that he and the Moana star had a conversation during the Elimination Chamber PLE earlier this month.

The Scottish Warrior further teased that there could be some big things coming this year. He hinted toward a potential alliance between him and The Rock down the line. It is going to be interesting to see if this plan comes to fruition or not.

Speaking to Daily Star, McIntyre expressed confidence that the United Kingdom will one day host WrestleMania. He firmly believed it was only a matter of time. The former WWE Champion stated he is open to any possibility. He also emphasized that London won’t just get a major event but eventually The Show of Shows itself.

These days I have a very different mindset than what I used to have, in that anything and everything is possible. It’s not just that there’s going to be a big show in the UK at some point. I believe there is going to be a WrestleMania.

Furthermore, The Scottish Warrior took a shot at John Cena for claiming credit for announcing the possibility of WrestleMania in London. He accused Cena of wanting to be the poster boy so badly that he made the announcement in 2023. However, McIntyre believes he was the first to express the potential of Mania coming to the UK.

Drew McIntyre to align with The Rock in 2025?

Drew McIntyre has been seen with The Rock multiple times over the past year, sparking speculation about a possible alliance. While it seems unlikely for now, the possibility remains open for the future. Given McIntyre’s driven and ambitious nature, such a partnership could become a reality later this year.

The former WWE Champion has been enduring a rough patch in his career lately. He is willing to do anything to fulfill his dream of becoming a WWE Champion in front of the fans. However, he has reached nowhere with that dream for now. This could drive him to become another star to sell his soul to The Rock and achieve glory in the Stamford-based promotion.

Such an angle could elevate The Scottish Warrior into the main title picture. It would also align him with The Great One, John Cena, and Travis Scott, reshaping WWE’s landscape. Additionally, this alliance could help McIntyre finally secure the top spot he has worked so hard for.
