A former World Champion exposes the double standards of John Cena following the icon's effortless entry into the Elimination Chamber match.

Out of the six men slated to vie for a WrestleMania quota inside the Elimination Chamber this Saturday, only John Cena didn’t have to go through a qualifier. He simply announced his participation, claiming he’s served WWE enough to earn that distinction to call his shots. However, one of his combatants, Drew McIntyre, has a little message for Cena.
On X, the Scot called out Cena for politicking his way into the Elimination Chamber. Moreover, he’s taken aback by the fact that there’s been little to no dumping on his name in the meantime while he’s filming in Budapest. Drew asked his counterparts whether they’re jittery about upsetting the former “golden goose” of WWE.
The former two-time WWE Champion even joked about not realizing that John’s retirement tour was already in effect because he hasn’t been around lately. It’s tough to do business with someone who can’t be seen, quipped McIntyre. Nonetheless, Drew got John covered. The 38-year-old is willing to keep the WWE legend’s name relevant even when the latter doesn’t show up.

We have a lot to talk about…#WWEChamber pic.twitter.com/kgLkcAW3yB
But going by your logic there we could put in Sydney Sweeney inside that Elimination Chamber and it’d be twice as big………..
Drew McIntyre on X
Drew likened it to what he did with CM Punk last year when the Chicagoan was still nursing a torn triceps injury. McIntyre can’t care less about Cena getting a bye into the Elimination Chamber, although he did compromise all of the values he remained steadfast on for a long time.
The Chosen One mocked John’s logic of inserting himself into the high-stakes chamber match in Toronto just because he’s a massive star. If that’s the way to do it, McIntyre said having someone like Sydney Sweeney would’ve been twice as big. At last, the Ayr-born wrestler said he’d make sure Cena’s protected at the PLE until it’s his time to bury the Peacemaker star.
CM Punk shares a callback with John Cena ahead of the Elimination Chamber
Out of all the possible matchups for John Cena inside the Elimination Chamber, the fans are manifesting for him to have a prolonged stretch with CM Punk. Both men displayed immaculate chemistry back in the day, and it’s time to go again, probably for the last time.

It seems The Second City Saint can’t wait to get his hands on the 47-year-old actor. Punk recently posted a reel of his classic No. 1 contenders match with Cena that took place on Raw in 2013. It was to determine The Rock‘s WrestleMania 29 opponent for the WWE Championship.

John got the better of The Best in the World, shattering Punk’s Mania dreams. This weekend, the stakes couldn’t be higher, and these veterans mixing it up in front of over 30,000 at the Rogers Centre would be a sight to behold.
