“I won’t absolutely suck,” Drew McIntyre aims dig at Aaron Taylor-Johnson-starrer ‘Kraven the Hunter’ after its DISAPPOINTING opening weekend collection
The former two-time WWE Champion is cognizant of Kraven the Hunter's underwhelming performance at the box office.

In a major setback to Sony Pictures, the studio’s latest Marvel adaptation, Kraven the Hunter, is the new box office bust. Starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, the superhero movie has an IMDB rating of 5.5/10. Budgeted at somewhere between $110-130 million, it’s heading toward a disaster with an opening three-day collection of merely $26 million worldwide. And Drew McIntyre hates it.
Taking to X, the WWE Superstar took a shot at J.C. Chandor’s direction, claiming that he won’t suck like Kraven the Hunter. While in the movie, Kraven hustles to become the greatest hunter in the world; McIntyre’s on a hunt of his own as well. But who’s at peril? Roman Reigns and his OG Bloodline. A couple of days ago, the Scot made light work of Sami Zayn at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Zayn was accused by Drew of putting his tail between his legs. That’s because he circled back to Reigns despite having been unceremoniously expelled from The Bloodline in early 2023. The same goes for Roman’s cousins, The Usos.
Though Jimmy was the first one to get on the same page with Reigns, Jey followed suit within no time. And now they’re lined up for its repercussions. After he beat Sami last Saturday, McIntyre took to his social media handles and posted a video clip saying, “One down, four to go.”
Having conceded the trilogy to CM Punk, the Scottish Warrior hasn’t tweaked his modus operandi at all. In fact, he’s going at it with even more vengeance in mind. Drew’s scorn for Roman and his men is expected to yield a match between McIntyre and The OTC down the road. Could it possibly happen at WrestleMania 41? It sure can.
Why did WWE rush Drew McIntyre’s return?
After spending a couple of months in his home country of Scotland, Drew McIntyre was fast-tracked to return to WWE. Had it not been for Bronson Reed‘s injury at Survivor Series: WarGames, McIntyre would’ve been held back for a few more weeks.
In fact, he wasn’t even scheduled for his rout against Sami Zayn at Saturday Night’s Main Event in the first place. Reed was due to wrap up his beef with Seth Rollins with a third and potentially the final match in their feud.
However, once The Auszilla broke his foot, WWE called the audible on Drew and called him back sooner than expected. Within a month of his comeback, the 39-year-old is already one of the most talked-about aspects of the current product.
