A bus ride while singing a song has another level of fanbase and our Indian cricketers were enjoying it all. It was Yuzvendra Chahal who shared a story on his Instagram where his teammates could be seen passing time by singing an old Bollywood song after the warm-up T20 against Northamptonshire.
These players know how to make fun out of a long bus ride at night. They were seen singing this old Bollywood song, “Dulhe ka sehra suhana lagta hain”. This song is from the movie Dhadkan starring Akshay Kumar, Shilpa Shetty and Sunil Shetty. The song is sung by Hunterz and Nadeem–Shravan.
Avesh Khan was leaning on Ishan Kishan’s lap Axar Patel sang from across the table. Beside Patel Suryakumar Yadav was engrossed on his tab with headphones on while on the other side of the seat team pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar was watching outside of the window.
India beat Northamptonshire
After defeating Derbyshire in the first warm-up T20 game, the Dinesh Karthik-led team defeated Northamptonshire in the second T20 warm-up game as well.
But they didn’t start great with losing three wickets in just three overs. Sanju Samson, Rahul Tripathi and Suryakumar Yadav were sent to the dressing room. But a 43-run stand off 32 balls between Dinesh Karthik and opener Ishan Kishan stitched India’s innings. After their dismissal, India’s scoreboard look 72/5.
But Harshal Patel who had batted for his state side, slammed a half-century for the first time in India colours. He scored a 36-ball 54 runs with five fours and three sixes to rescue from a paltry score to a modest 149. The target proved enough for Harshal, Chahal and Arshdeep Singh as they restricted the host to 139.
