“She got more boring,” Wrestling veteran explains why Ronda Rousey’s WWE career fell off, hints she’s not as charismatic as Logan Paul
A 74-year-old wrestling veteran has explained why Ronda Rousey's WWE run hit the rock bottom, and how she's not like Logan Paul.

It’s unfortunate how Ronda Rousey parted ways with WWE. Once a WrestleMania main-eventer, she wasn’t even getting into significant matches in her last year with the company. But did she get boring? Former WWE name Dutch Mantell thinks so. The legendary wrestling manager spoke about what Ronda lacked, underscoring the dichotomy between her and Logan Paul.
Mantel, on Story Time with Dutch Mantell, said that Rousey was bad at cutting promos. Even though she had a presence, she didn’t ooze as much showmanship as Logan, added Dutch. The latter further explained why the former UFC ace wasn’t a good heel either. According to him, Ronda Rousey didn’t possess any of the nuances to woo the audience.
Instead, it was like the fans didn’t even want her to be on their TV screens anymore. Whereas Paul’s more entertaining to watch both as a heel and as a babyface. A few months ago, Rousey vented her frustrations over not being treated the same way as Paul by WWE. The former UFC Bantamweight Champion was miffed at the fact that she didn’t get enough time to prepare and rehearse for her matches, but Logan did.
She got more boring, you know? You see you’re going to ring, you know, she’s an interesting figure. I will say that but she’s not a good talker. She doesn’t have any of the showmanship that Logan Paul has.Dutch Mantell on Ronda Rousey via Story Time with Dutch Mantell
Later on, The Maverick also issued a statement, responding to Rousey in a rather polite cadence. Logan Paul quelled the brewing speculation among fans that she was taking a shot at him. He thought that Ronda was just using him as an example to voice her displeasure with WWE and nothing more.
The former US Champion affirmed that he has immense respect for the erstwhile Judoka, given everything she’s done in the UFC. Paul didn’t comment on what went wrong with Rousey in WWE. The last match she had ended up in a loss to Shayna Baszler at last year’s SummerSlam.
Will Ronda Rousey consider WWE return after a messy exit?
Once Ronda Rousey stormed out of WWE, she went on an unhinged spree, slamming Vince McMahon and other top brass executives. Cognizant of countless depraved acts that Vince and his staunch allies committed, the former Women’s Champion was taken aback.
But now that McMahon’s no longer in charge, is there a chance that Ronda will come back to WWE? Well, at least she thinks so. In a recent Q&A session on Reddit, the 37-year-old said she’d consider it. She has spoken very kindly of Triple H, the WWE CCO, on numerous occasions.
In fact, before bidding adieu to the promotion, Rousey sat down with The Cerebral Assassin to brief him why she made the decision to quit WWE. Ronda said she couldn’t remain associated with mediocrity, and that was it for her.
