Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union
Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union have been together for a decade now. Their relationship did not come by without compromises and understanding. The NBA star recently sat down with Angel Reese on her podcast and opened up about his relationship with Union.
During the podcast, Angel Reese enquired Dwyane Wade on his views about men being insecure of a woman being the dominant one in the relationship. Elaborating on that, Reese asked if it was the hard case for the NBA champion. Admitting the truth, Wade said it was surely an adjustment for both the individuals.
With Gabrielle Union being a strong independent woman, Wade explained his relationship with her was like the relationship he had with Shaquille O’Neal and LeBron James on the court. Explaining further, he mentioned that it was like to dabble with teammates, sometimes taking charge, other times standing back.
Dwyane Wade and Shaquille O’Neal were an iconic duo in the Miami Heat. To an extent, the latter felt it his job to nudge the former to be better. Meanwhile LeBron James and Dwyane Wade have a history etched in respect for one another. The Heat teammates even bumped shoulders for the latter’s ‘last dance’ in his 16th season of the NBA.
As for Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union, they have never been afraid of keeping it real with the public. That is one of the things admired the most by their fans. They are also known to poke fun at each other on social media. The couple celebrated their 10th anniversary last month, with Gabrielle Union singing a love song for Dwyane Wade.
Gabrielle Union gave Dwyane Wade live reviews on his commentator stint
The former NBA player is not all that disconnected to sports itself. Dwyane Wade recently ventured into the hall of sports commentators as he donned the role for NBC during the Paris Olympics. Good thing he has an honest Gabrielle Union to give him feedback.
I’m having fun calling these Olympics but most importantly I’m not trying to be anyone IAM not.
