EA Sports confirm the inclusion of the Indian Super League in FIFA 22

Indian Super League in FIFA 22: FIFA 22, one of the most authentic football experiences in the gaming world, is adding even more realism with the Hero Indian Super League now being featured in this year’s game. It is an association football simulation video game published by Electronic Arts as part of the FIFA series. EA Sports FIFA will feature the Hero Indian Super League in its upcoming release of FIFA 22 later this September. The article shares the details about the same.

Indian Super League in FIFA 22
The Indian Super League has long been a part of FIFA Mobile, EA games’ version of FIFA on mobile phone devices. It saw massive success leading to fans demanding the league even on the more traditional PC and Console versions. ISL is in its eighth season and all the eleven ISL participating clubs will feature in the latest edition of the sports video game franchise. The news was confirmed by ISL via Twitter earlier today.
“The FIFA gaming platform opens unique opportunities for a young league like ISL and its 11 clubs to cater to the fast-growing fan base globally. The digital ISL experience will be a big innovation for the league this season onwards,” an ISL spokesperson said. FIFA 22 will be released on October 1 globally. Moreover, the latest edition of FIFA will conjoin advanced 11v11 match capture and proprietary machine learning technology to deliver a realistic and responsive football experience.
The current 11 teams of ISL which will feature in FIFA 22 along with their kits and other associated marks are:
- SC East Bengal
- ATK Mohun Bagan
- Bengaluru FC
- Mumbai City FC
- Jamshedpur FC
- North East United FC
- Hyderabad FC
- Odisha FC
- FC Goa
- Kerala Blasters FC
- Chennaiyin FC
The Indian football team started featuring in the game regularly since FIFA 13, but this would be the first time when an Indian league will be part of the game’s highly-rated console and PC versions. All ISL clubs were told to submit their jersey designs to the organizers earlier compared to the previous season as they had to be submitted to EA Sports.
