Ryan Garcia has caused the boxing world to go into a frenzy after he tested positive in a VADA test. He couldn’t secure the WBC super-lightweight title because he missed weight for the fight. However, his victory over Devin Haney is now being invalidated since he tested positive for PEDS. Surprisingly, his rival Gervonta Davis has now come to his defense and has instead accused Eddie Hearn.
The substance that Garcia tested positive for was ostarine, which has now caused him to be blamed for using steroids. ‘KingRy’ has denied these claims and stated that people are conspiring against him. As such, he believes that the positive test results only showed up after he secured his victory. Davis also appears to share a similar opinion.

Hearn, who is promoting Haney, was criticized by Davis for handling Conor Benn’s positive drug test in 2022. Furthermore, ‘Tank’ appears to reflect on that by bringing up Hearn again. In a show of support for his rival, Davis denounced what he saw as a coordinated effort to take credit for Garcia’s success in the ring.
Tank also fired back at the boxing world for believing that Garcia cheated by using PEDs. In addition, he remarked how KingRy did not test positive when they fought and didn’t need to cheat. Subsequently, Gervonta Davis again accused Hearn of using dirty tricks to make his fighter win.

In the buildup to the fight, Haney accused his opponent of using cocaine. However, Garcia also denied these claims and stated that he only consumed weed and alcohol regularly. Now that he has tested positive for PEDs, KingRy is maintaining his stance.
In a recent video, Ryan Garcia again denied the claims that he used steroids before the fight. He mentioned how he didn’t know what ostarine was before this. KingRy also stated that he was on tequila before the fight and can only test positive if tequila has steroids.
He said he would have never done a voluntary drug test if he were using drugs. Hence, Garcia firmly believes that people conspired against him to take away his victory. In about ten days, the world will get to know if the majority decision gets overturned to a no-contest.
