“Going to change how women feel” – Elon Musk’s mother Maye poses for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2022

Maye Musk, who is the mother of Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, was recently featured as one of the models on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit magazine. Born in South Africa, the 74-year-old Maye has been a supermodel and nutrition expert apart from being a successful mother (raising her children Elon, Kimbal and Tosca as a single parent).

However, this is not the first time she has posed in a swimsuit, but she did make her debut in a magazine where women in tiny garments posed.

To be a swimsuit model for Sports Illustrated, people would have locked me up like crazy”, Maye Musk said, as quoted by Marca.com. “I’m so excited that they’ve decided that even older women can wear swimsuits and look great. I think it’s going to change how women feel.”

During one of her previous media interactions, Maye had stated that her body is only as good as the food she puts in her mouth and that no one has ever asked her to get a facelift or botox injections.

I’ve never had a swimsuit body. It’s not modesty, it’s something I’ve learned from being a model. My body is only as good as the food I put in my mouth. No one has ever asked me to get a facelift or botox injections. And for a 70-year-old I’m doing fine,” she told the British newspaper The Guardian years ago.

My mom is now 74 years old. In her years on this planet she earned two master’s degrees in nutritional science, won awards in the field of dietetics, has been in countless fashion shows and editorials, and even appeared in a Beyoncé video,” Maye Musk’s youngest daughter, Tosca wrote.
