Rhea Ripley finally got what she wanted – a Women’s World Title match at WrestleMania 41. After the announcement, she reunited with her alleged ex-girlfriend, Cathy Kelley, which excited the WWE Universe. The backstage interviewer, who shares a special bond with The Eradicator, recently posted a message on social media.
Cathy Kelley took to X and shared a photo of herself giving a warm hug to the former Women’s World Champion. In the caption, she mentioned it was an emotional night for them – possibly hinting at Rhea Ripley earning her title shot at WrestleMania 41. Kelley and Ripley have appeared together in several videos and often refer to each other as “lovers.”
Speaking of Ripley, she had a good day on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. After Bianca Belair disqualified both Mami and the champion IYO SKY while serving as special guest referee last week, Ripley took out both women with a Riptide. Frustrated by the chaos, Adam Pearce scheduled another contract signing for all three stars ahead of their Triple Threat match at WrestleMania 41.

Just when it seemed like SKY was being overshadowed by Belair and Ripley, she took them both down with a missile dropkick. With all three being fan favorites, picking a winner for fans won’t be easy. The Women’s World Champion at WrestleMania 41 will be decided in what promises to be an intense Triple Threat match.
Rhea Ripley talked about what she went through ahead of her first match in the Mae Young Classic tournament
The 28-year-old star has cemented her place as one of the top names in the women’s division. However, her journey wasn’t without struggles and self-doubt. Ripley was the third guest on Stephanie McMahon’s show, Stephanie’s Places, following CM Punk and Cody Rhodes.

In a conversation with The Billion Dollar Princess, Mami opened up about her early days, especially during the Mae Young Classic tournament. Ripley admitted she was terrified before her first match and cried a lot. She also began to doubt her abilities. At one point, after facing heavy criticism, she even thought about giving up her dream and going back to Australia.
The first Mae Young Classic, I cried before my match, I was terrified. I just felt like I wasn’t doing the best of my abilities and it made people start to doubt me again. Continuously getting the criticism and little comments here and there. I wanted to move back in Australia. I wanted to throw it all away.

Ripley admitted that she was insecure about her looks and decided to change her by cutting her hair. By changing her look and attitude, she fully transformed into a whole new person. After that, her wrestling career reached new heights and went on to became the multi time Women’s champion. Her story inspires people to overcome one’s doubt and always becoming the better version.
Rhea Ripley mocked the Raw general manager Adam Pearce for his botch on Raw
The past few weeks have been tough for Pearce. Managing a roster full of WWE Superstars is no easy task, and it has led to a few slip-ups on the mic. One of them was when he mistakenly introduced Ripley as still being part of The Judgment Day. Mami later mocked him for it on social media.

She took to X and jokingly told the Raw GM to take a nap after he mistakenly announced her as still being part of The Judgment Day. Recently, Ripley also appreciated him for adding her to the title match against Sky and Belair at WrestleMania 41. The funny part was that Pearce himself admitted the mistake and jokingly said he needed a drink to handle it.
@ScrapDaddyAP I think you need to take a nap my dude… Appreciate you for at least getting one thing right and adding me to the WrestleMania41 match!

Ripley’s final day as a member of The Judgment Day was at SummerSlam 2024, when Dominik Mysterio betrayed her by siding with Liv Morgan. That moment sparked a long-term feud between the new Judgment Day and Mami, along with Damian Priest, who was also betrayed by Finn Balor that same night. Ripley and Priest later defeated Dominik and Morgan in a tag team match at Bash in Berlin before shifting their focus to their individual careers.
