Manchester City star Erling Haaland has reportedly spent a whopping $2.6 million on buying two private jets, a major step forward in the expansion of his new business portfolio. The 24-year-old acquired them through his image rights firm, York Promotions Ltd.
Erling Haaland has been in the form of his life, having been awarded the Premier League Golden Boot two seasons in a row. The 24-year-old is on course to winning the award this season as well, having already netted four goals in just two matches for his club. Apart from football, Haaland has ventured into business, partnering with the image rights firm York Promotions Ltd. and is also on the verge of entering the soft beverages market with his own new energy drink.
The Norwegian has appeared in multiple commercials for York Promotions, helping the firm rake up almost $16 million in assets. A recent transaction in the company’s accounts show them acquiring the two private air crafts for a massive amount of £2,155,342. These two jets will reportedly be at the forward’s service, helping him travel in style. This would also add to the former Dortmund star’s impressive collection of luxury items including cars, watches and attires.

Manchester City identify Erling Haaland ‘backup’ in young Iceland international
The Cityzens have reportedly identified a backup to forward Erling Haaland, following Julian Alvarez’s departure to Atletico Madrid. A young 19-year-old forward, Orri Oskarsson, who plays for Danish champions Copenhagen is being seen as a potential option.

Oskarsson currently plays for the Danish giants, but is expected to depart the club before the end of the summer transfer window. City are firm admirers of the Iceland international, who scored 15 goals and provided six assists in 41 matches last season. He has emerged as one of Europe’s most formidable talents, with a price-tag of about $22 million.
He is high on Pep Guardiola’s list, which also includes Celtic’s Kyogo Furuhashi, but might face competition from Real Sociedad and Porto for his signature. City are in a need to fill the space left behind by Julian Alvarez, with Oscar Bobb also injured.
