It is an S-tier weapon and has become quite popular after the season 1 update. In Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer matches marksman rifles are now preferred over sniper rifles. To unlock the SA-B 50 players will have to level up the SP-R 208 Marksman rifle to level 16. This custom loadout is ideal for the SA-B 50 marksman rifle:

  • Barrel: 12.5″ Carbon Barrel or 18.5″ XRK Resonate
  • Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser or Corio LAZ-44 V3
  • Optic: SP-X 80 6.6X (optional)
  • Stock: XRK Spector Mod
  • Rear: Schlager Match Grip
  • Ammunition: .308 High Velocity

All these attachments are to be tuned for maximum recoil stability. The barrel and stock are used to give maximum stability and low recoil. The custom SA-B 50 is quite capable yet needs a strong secondary weapon to make up for the low firing rate.
