Larian Studios has blown the minds of all RPG fans with their latest release, Baldur’s Gate 3. It has received much support from fans and is critically acclaimed. The game was also recently awarded the Game of the Year during the Game Awards 2023.

Baldur’s Gate 3 allows players to create their character and dive deep into the mythical world of Faerun. As of now, the game doesn’t include or possess crossplay mechanics. However, the developers at Larian Studios have confirmed recently that they are looking to add this feature to the game soon.

The head of publishing at Larian Studios, Michael Douse, has confirmed that crossplay has been planned since the game was in early development. He has said that the development of this system is progressing well, but he doesn’t want to set a specific date for it yet.

If players on Xbox Series X/S, Playstation 5 or PC want to play together, they will have to wait a while before they can team up and explore Faerun.
