The EFL Players of the Season SBC is a Squad Building Challenge event in FIFA 23. It celebrates the top performers from the English Football League. During this event, FIFA 23 players can obtain upgraded versions of some of the best players in the EFL. These players come with boosted stats and overall ratings. To obtain these special cards, players must complete certain Squad Building Challenges within a given time frame.

How does the EFL Player of the Season SBC work in FIFA 23?

To participate in the EFL Players of the Season SBC, players must first access the SBC menu in FIFA 23’s Ultimate Team mode. From there, they can select the EFL Players of the Season SBC and begin the challenge. The challenge usually involves building a squad of players that meet certain requirements, such as having a certain overall rating or containing players from a specific league. The task is as follows:

  • Minimum one Player from England
  • 11 players in the squad
  • The squad rating must be a minimum of 83
  • Minimum 1 IF + TOTS player

Once players have built their squad and submitted it, you can choose between the EFL TOTS versions of Junior Tchamadeu, Alex Scott, and Bali Mumba. All three cards have 90 overalls and upgraded stats. Players have 6 days to complete this SBC, so make sure you complete this collect one of the above-mentioned cards. If you don’t have cards to complete this SBC, make sure to play game modes like Division Rivals, Weekend League, and Squad Battles. You can get different in-game packs that can give you cards to complete the EFL Young POTS SBC.
