GTA Online: How to play Short Trips with Franklin and Lamar

Here is how to play these co-op activities and experience the iconic duo's escapades.

GTA Online has always been popular for its exciting adventures and fun missions. Fans of the story mode can also play as two famous characters – Franklin Clinton and Lamar Davis. The Short Trips missions allow you to go on crazy adventures with this funny pair. In this article, we’ll show you how to play Short Trips in GTA Online and make the most of the special bonus available for a limited time.

To start your Short Trips adventure, you have to buy an Agency and finish The Contract DLC’s campaign. After you finish Dr. Dre’s Contract missions, you’ll unlock the fun Short Trips missions. These missions are made for two players. You can ask a friend to play with you or use matchmaking to find someone from the GTA Online community to join you.

Play Short Trips missions in GTA Online

To access the Short Trips missions, follow these simple steps:

Open the Jobs Menu.
Select Rockstar Created.
Choose Missions.
Scroll down until you see GTA Online Short Trips options.
Pick the mission you want to play.

There are three awesome Short Trips missions with Franklin and Lamar, and they are all about the weed business.

1. Seed Capital

Franklin and Lamar want to get back at the Vagos gang for their weed storage in Blaine County. They will race Franklin’s motorcycle against Lamar’s upgraded car and use fertilizer to burn down the weed supplies in two warehouses. They will also use a Technical (a pickup truck with a mounted machine gun) to fight off enemy vehicles. Once they destroy both warehouses, they’ll take a Vagos van and drive it back to Franklin’s house while fighting more gang members.

2. Fire It Up

Lamar sets up a meeting for LD Organics with Jimmy Boston from the Epsilon Program. They plan to use a van made of weed to impress him. Franklin will be their sniper cover while they deal with rival gang members. Afterward, they’ll try to drive the van back to LD Organics, but there’s a problem as the van catches fire, and they start getting high from the fumes. But don’t worry; they’ll still try to get some publicity for their brand by going to Tequi-la-la.

3. OG Kush

OG Kush is about Lamar’s plan for a weed-themed meeting with Jimmy Boston from the Epsilon Program. Franklin helps by providing sniper support as they deal with the Vagos gang. But when the weed van catches fire, they have to change their plan. They decide to go to Tequila instead, turning the mishap into a chance to get publicity and raise LD Organics’ profile. The mission is a crazy and funny adventure that shows the friendship between Franklin and Lamar in GTA Online’s Short Trips.
