Hogwarts Legacy lets players get around the vast Hogwarts and learn skills and spells to excel further in the game. In the Lost Astrolabe quest, players can get new face wear and learn how to dive underwater as well. For players to get on with this mission, they will have to make certain preparations. The first and foremost thing is that players must be at least level 7 or above to start this quest. They will have to travel to the lower Hogsfield area. This is near the South Hogwarts region. Upon arriving, players will have to talk to Grace Pinch-Smedley, who happens to be a Slytherin student. You can find her on the old wooden dock in Lower Hogsfield.

The Lost Astrolabe side quest
Grace will meet the player at the wooden dock and ask for help for her family’s lost Astrolabe. The Astrolabe happens to be in the water, northeast of the dock. For this, players will simply have to jump in the water and head toward the region marked on the map. While going to the mark, players might come across a few Dugbog. Since players won’t be able to use their wand while in the water, players should stay far from them without attracting their attention.
When you reach near to the location marked on the map, you’ll see white circles in the water. As players make their way to the center of this circle, press X in the case of Xbox or square in the PlayStation controller. This will let players dive inside the water and will result in coming out with items of different kinds and gears too. Players will have to make enough attempts upon which they will finally stumble upon the lost Astrolabe of Grace’s family.
After players retrieve the lost Astrolabe, they can return to the wooden dock and claim the prize. However, players are at liberty whether or not to return the Astrolabe to Grace. No matter what you choose, you’ll get the item anyway. Upon completion of this mission, players will get 180 XP and a Mermaid mask which can be used to alter the look of the gear and customize it according to their own will.
