When will players need to use potions simultaneously?

Once players progress to the part of the story after Jackdaw’s Rest quest), they will receive an assignment called Professor Sharp’s Assignment 1. The assignment will task players with obtaining and using a focus potion, and the next objective will be acquiring and using Maxima and Edurus Potions and then using them simultaneously

Using potions simultaneously in Hogwarts Legacy

After obtaining the potions by crafting or purchasing them from a vendor such as a botanist or Olivander in Hogsmeade. Players will have to follow the steps below to use the Maxima and Edurus together:

  • Players need to hold down the L1 button to open the tool wheel.
  • Hover over any potions and then let go of L1 to equip it.
  • Then tap, and press L1 to drink it and achieve its benefits.
  • Once the first potion has been drunk, players need to repeat the same process and down the other potion.
  • This will lead to the players having the beneficial effects of both potions simultaneously.
