Valorant is a PvP first-person shooter game. Every game has a live server and the company maintains and smoothly runs the show. The daily traffic of games is huge and rising with each passing day and has found a strong foot holding in the gamers.

Riot has taken a new initiative with its flagship game, Valorant. Players can now build their teams to compete in scheduled matches. Riot has arranged a new plan for the premier to set it up as a path for players to go pro in the future. Valorant began its premier on April 25th, which is supposedly an enrollment process. Valorant has a competition phase, which comes later for teams.

The team in the premier will be set in the division according to their skill-based ranking. Let’s dive deep into the format of Valorant Premier and its division.

Divisions in Valorant Premier

There are going to be 20 divisions across the globe per zone. In total, there will be 14 zones that would cover the globe. The zone will determine which server players will be able to access and play in. Players will have to choose the designated zone which will further segregate the teams in division. This segregation would be based on the matchmaking rating of the top 5 players of the team in Valorant Premier.

Format for the Valorant Premier

The enrollment period for the Valorant Premier started on April 29 and will last until May 20, 2023. In this period, players will be able to play about 2 matches. Each match will add points to the premier score. rules here would be very simple: the team will get points even after losing but more points after winning. But the sitting duck team will end up with a null score. After the weekly matches are concluded,. The re,lting top teams from each of the 20 divisions in Valorant Premier will proceed to play in the Playoff tournament. This playoff will kick off on May 21, 2023.

Teams will battle for the ultimate championship of Valorant Premier. The losing team will have to fight for third place in the Consolation bracket.

This Premier beta will be back again in July which would be the next phase of Valorant Premier. The full launch of this premier is destined for August 2023. This will be decided after the Valorant Champions Tour 2023 which will take place before August. It would be interesting to see how this new Valorant Premier going to find its place in the player pool.
