Call of Duty Warzone 2 in Season 3 added a new tier-one mission for the Redacted faction. In this mission players need to kill the Scavenger and find three of his Calling Cards. However, the Scavenger is an elusive mini-boss, and finding his exact location can be challenging. Additionally, it requires players to complete two tasks to earn XP and a key to the Sawah Hotel Room.
To complete this mission, players need to first locate and defeat the Scavenger mini-boss. However, finding three of the Scavenger’s Calling Cards can help narrow down his location. Once players eliminate the Scavenger, they can earn XP and the key to the Sawah Hotel Room, completing the mission.

How to locate Scavenger calling cards DMZ Warzone 2

First of all, players need to collect three Scavenger Calling Cards on the bodies of fallen operators to complete the Calling Card mission in Warzone 2 DMZ. Players can locate these operators throughout the map in DMZ. They usually spawn around areas with a high enemy density like Hafid Port.
It is better to find the Calling Cards before taking down the Scavenger boss since he will stop dropping them once defeated. To locate the Scavenger, you must loot backpacks from bodies within a red circle triggered randomly on either Al Mazrah or Ashika Island maps. One thing to remember is that the scavenger will only spawn once you take down other operators or start the Secure Intel contract.
Immediately after eliminating a few operators’ players will see a new map icon of the boss with the prompt ‘The Scavenger Nearby.’ Although the scavenger doesn’t attack by itself the AI enemies surrounding him certainly will. Basically, players need to get rid of all of them in order to get close to the Scavenger. After defeating him players need to loot the backpacks which will replace standard dog tags with calling cards.
Next players need to call for an exfil which they can do by reaching marked locations on the outskirts of the map. Otherwise, players can also call for personal exfil by reaching any nearby buy stations. Once players complete the mission, they can earn 5,000 XP, a Golden Skull, and the Sawah Hotel Room Key for the Al Mazrah map.
How to recognize the Scavenger and defeat him

Players will hear an audio announcement if they approach a dead body looted by the Scavenger which is the cue that it’s somewhere nearby. As previously mentioned, AI enemies will guard the Scavenger mini-boss, so how to identify him between all of the ruckus?
These enemies called Shadow Company soldiers equip themselves with riot shields so pack some Semtex. The Scavenger wears a black ghillie suit which players might even mistake for other operators. Once you locate and eliminate him it will complete the mission and collect Scavenger calling cards.
Besides the Scavenger mini boss players will also encounter the Pyro commander. Apart from that players can also collect various loot from locating and infiltrating the sniper team’s hideout.
