After concluding the earlier game series with Mortal Kombat 11, the developers are rebooting the series for the fans with Mortal Kombat 1. It is set to release on September 19. It is the magnificent graphics, deadly fatalities, and gory gameplay that have kept the audience captivated by the game.

Mortal Kombat has always earned its reputation for incorporating famous movie characters into its games, giving them an interesting twist. Mortal Kombat 1 is no exception, as it will also include three new characters that you probably didn’t see coming. It’s the inclusion of the bad guy, Homelander, John Cena’s Peacemaker, and the baddie, Omni-Man.

A big reveal happened at the San Diego Comic-Con by NetherRealm Studios, as they revealed the DLC characters for Kombat Pack 1 in the rebooted Mortal Kombat 1. Mortal Kombat earlier had added the likes of Terminator, Freddy Krueger, and Alien’s Xenomorph, among others. The theme this time around seems to be super-heroes and super-villains, though it seems more like super-villains.

The Kombat Pack 1’s Incredible Lineup will include Homelander from The Boys, DC’s Peacemaker, and Omni Man from Invincible! These characters have gained popularity through their appearances in the renowned Amazon Prime series, with Peacemaker also portrayed by the talented John Cena in The Suicide Squad and an HBO Max series.

Kombat Pack 1 also brings back former Mortal Kombat fighters Ermac, Quan-Chi, and Takeda. The premium version of the game includes Kombat Pack 1, granting players early access to the game, Johnny Cage’s Jean-Claude Van Damme Skin, introducing five fresh Kameo characters, and providing exclusive one-week early access to upcoming DLC characters.
