The Redmask Ranker Back Bling is a cosmetic item that changes its appearance based on a player’s rank in Fortnite’s Ranked mode. These Redmask Ranker Back Blings were supposed to be Ranked quest rewards for this season’s Ranked Urgent quests. However, Fortnite players reported that they were receiving these blings much earlier than the season’s end.

An official Fortnite Twitter account called FortniteStatus reported that Epic Games is distributing these backblings to everyone who has logged in during Chapter 4 Season 4. This decision was supposedly taken after reviewing ranked quest data. They also mentioned that similar items will be available earlier in the Ranked quest rewards cycle.

After reviewing Ranked quest data, we’ll be granting the Redmask Ranker Back Bling to all players who log in during Chapter 4 Season 4.
