Fighting Nerijuss for the Reduvia dagger in Elden Ring

Elden Ring

To obtain the Reduvia dagger, players must defeat Bloody Finger Nerijuss, an NPC who is hostile to Tarnished players. You can trigger this fight shortly after arriving in the Lands Between. The fight is not nearly as difficult as the Grated Scion tutorial boss fight.

You can find Bloody Finger Nerijuss along the ravine leading northeast from Agheel Lake toward Murkwater Catacombs. After obtaining the Torrent ability, head east from the Gatefront Ruins. Here, you will find Bloody Finger Nerijuss in that area. The game will show a prompt indicating that the NPC Tarnished is invading, but shortly afterward, it will automatically summon another NPC named Bloody Finger Hunter Yura to assist players during the fight.

Bloody Finger Nerijuss is a dual-dagger-wielding NPC who is proficient in inflicting Bleed on players. Players should avoid their attacks until Yura arrives, as taking on Nerijuss solo during the beginning of Elden Ring can be challenging.

Players will earn the Reduvia dagger, Furlcalling Finger Remedy, and 316 Runes after defeating Nerijuss. Although the Reduvia dagger cannot be infused with any Ashes of War, its unique Reduvia Blood Blade skill more than makes up for it. By attacking with the dagger, its never-drying bloodstains will transform into airborne blood blades that can be fired in rapid succession to cause Hemorrhaging.

The Reduvia dagger is a highly desirable weapon for players in Elden Ring who want to create a bleed-build character. By defeating Bloody Finger Nerijuss, players can obtain the Reduvia dagger relatively early in the game. So, head to the ravine leading northeast from Agheel Lake toward Murkwater Catacombs and start your journey to acquire the Reduvia dagger today.
