Elden Ring has a very beautiful story woven into the game. The game itself has 6 endings, of which 4 are variations of the same ending, only differing due to the mending rune the player decides to use to mend the Elden Ring. The game gives achievements to players for only 3 endings, as the others are variations of the same ending. The first 4 endings are variations of the Elden Lord ending, depending on how the player decides to mend the Elden Ring.

Age of the Stars Ending

Untitled design 8 1

The Age of the Stars ending is the one where you help an NPC called Ranni bring a new age and cut of the Greater Will’s influence issued by the 2 fingers in the Lands Between. To get this ending, the player must first start and complete the entire questline of Ranni the Witch. This is the only criteria one must fulfill before the end of the game to unlock this ending’s cutscene. After the player has successfully freed Ranni and also defeated the Elden Beast, the final boss, the player is sent back to the arena where you fought Radagon, and the crumpled body of Marika can be found nearby. On contrary to interacting with the crumpled statue, you need to look for a blue summon sign on the ground. This sign summons Ranni the Witch after which the cutscene for the Age of the Stars Begins.

The Age of the Stars ending signifies that Ranni ends the Golden Order in the Lands Between and replaces the ErdTree with the moon, bringing about the Guidance of the stars to the lands giving the people free will. She then names the protagonist as her eternal consort and they both leave the Lands Between without a ruler for the first time.
