One of the best games in the FPS genre is Apex Legends. Launched a year before Valorant, the game features certain similar mechanics. However, the game has a lot of unique things to offer, starting with the distinctive gameplay and featured game modes. However, Apex Legends has quite a name in the cosmetics market too. Moreover, with a new currency launched in the game in Season 17, a lot of new content has made its way to Apex Legends. This includes the Valkyrie Prestige Skin too.

Apex Legends offers a highly fast-paced battle royale FPS gaming experience. It featured many playable characters called Legends, all with their unique abilities and playstyles. Furthermore, the plethora of cosmetics in this game is immense, with new ones coming in with every update. Fans love this large variety of Legend skins, along with weapon skins. However, the most popular skin type among these is prestige skin.

Prestige Skins are a mythic rarity in this game, which is the highest rarity. This rarity type was released first in season 12, along with a Bloodhound Prestige Skin. These skins have the unique feature of evolving the more damage you do. Respawn Entertainment, the devs behind this game, really went out with this concept. Although it did receive criticism at the start, but is now an integral part of the game.

As of right now, there are only 4 prestige skins in this game. The first three are skins for Bloodhound, Bangalore, and Wraith & the fourth one is coming in for Valkyrie. The best and easiest way to unlock Prestige Skins is through Heirloom Shards. The First method is for players to buy these skins for 150 Heirloom Shards from the Mythic Store after the introductory event for the skin ends.

The Heirloom Shards are hard to acquire, as only 1 in 500 Apex Loot packs may have the item in them. And that’s still a generous percentage. The second way is for players to collect all 24 premium Collection Event cosmetics. By doing so, they’ll be able to unlock the Valkyrie Prestige Skin. This event will be available in the upcoming Neon Network Collection Event. The Neon Network Collection Event starts on Tuesday, July 25 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET and ends on Tuesday, August 8 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET.

The second method has a time constraint, so players who want the skin needs to grind quite a bit. Although through the first method, players won’t be bound to any time restrictions, however, that’s the most tedious task and would burn a lot of real-life money too. So in players who need the Valyrie Prestige Skin in Apex Legends, the grind is a compulsion.
