Krafton is back in eSports with a major tournament of BGMI, the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2023. Krafton organized the previous edition in 2021, which proved to be a tremendous success, boasting a prize pool of a whopping ₹1,00,00,000. However, this time, they have outdone themselves, elevating the prize pool to an astonishing ₹2,00,00,000.
The Grind for BGIS started on 20 July 2023 where out of the 256 teams only 64 go through. The competition is open to all, which gives everyone a chance to come to a big stage like this and make a name for themselves. But first, you would have to register yourself to take part in BGIS 2023 as the registration opens on 24 July 2023.

Steps to register for BGIS 2023
The registration process for BGIS 2023 starts on July 24, 2023, and will go on until August 2, 2023. You can register your squad on BGMI Esports’ official website here. The competition boasts of an impressive prize pool of ₹2,00,00,000, which organizers will divide among the 16 finalists based on their standings.
To register your BGMI squad, first of all, your squad must pass certain criteria which are:
- You must have at least 4 players
- ALL the players registered should be above the age of 18
- Everyone should have government proof of ID, like an Adhaar card or PAN card.
- Players in the squad must possess an in-game ID with a level above 25 and must be ranked higher than or placed in Platinum 5.
If you satisfy the above criteria you can then register yourself for BGIS 2023 on their official website. You have to then fill out your details like name, age, gender, DOB and etc, so be careful while entering all the details because even a minute mistake in your registration form can get you disqualified.
The top 64 teams from The Grind will go through to the BGIS 2023, from which the top 32 will get straight entry into Round 3 while the bottom 32 will have to fight their way through from Round 2. The registered teams will be playing the in-game qualifiers which will go on from August 10 to August 17. A total of 2048 teams will be going through to Round 1 from in-game qualifiers.
The top 16 teams left at the end will fight in the Grand Finale for the coveted trophy, which will take place from October 12 to October 14. The squad that amasses the most points during the intense three-day phase will claim the blazing trophy along with a cash prize of ₹75 lakhs. This is a fantastic opportunity for players all over the country to come and show their skills on such a big platform, It can open many doors for new opportunities for youngsters who want to come into eSports.
