GTA 6 leaker & Rockstar Games hacker has finally received a life in hospital prison sentence due to his mental illness
In September this year, an 18-year-old based in London hacked Rockstar Games and leaked much information about GTA 6. The hacker, Arion Kurtaj from Oxford, hacked the multi-billion-dollar company. Kurtaj is a member of a notorious hacking group called Lapsus$. Furthermore, this wasn’t Kurtaj’s first hack, as while hacking Rockstar Games, the 18-year-old hacker was already out on bail for hacking other big corporations!

Kurtaj has hacked corporations like Nvidia, Uber, and, most recently, Rockstar Games. According to the judge, Kurtaj continued to pose a severe risk to the public because of his abilities and motivation to perpetrate cybercrime. He’ll be kept in a safe hospital for the rest of his life until his doctors decide he’s no longer a threat. Kurtaj was aggressive in detention, according to several complaints of injuries and property damage, as the court heard.
The sentencing hearing used a mental health assessment and said, “continued to express the intent to return to cyber-crime as soon as possible. He is highly motivated.” Furthermore, while hacking Rockstar, the GTA 6 leaker and hacker was out on bail for hacking Nvidia & BT/EE. Kurtaj was in a hotel called the Travelodge Hotel, under police protection, and had his laptop confiscated. However, he still hacked Rockstar Games using an Amazon Firestick, the hotel TV, and his phone.
This is where Kurtaj got his title of Rockstar Games hacker and GTA 6 leaker. He released around 90 unreleased clips of GTA 6 and threatened to leak the game’s source code. Kurtaj worked on numerous hacks in his life and became one of the two members of the hacking group Lapsus$ to be held by authorities. Kurtaj will spend a lot of time in a hospital prison until he’s fit to live in society.
