Activision ceases Building 21 access in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 DMZ mode

Activision has suddenly stopped access to Building 21 in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 DMZ. It has created a lot of confusion among the players. Building 21 is one of the best Points of Interest in the Al Mazrah map for players looking to have a productive DMZ run.

It was first introduced in Warzone 2 Season 1 “Reloaded” and has been one of the most sought out POIs in Al Mazrah. However, to now access this loot-filled POI, players are required to purchase the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 full game.

Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and its free-to-play Battle Royale Warzone 2 have been receiving a lot of backlash from its community these past few months. Warzone 2 is no stranger to such bugs. The game has lost a massive amount of its player base due to many bugs and low response rates from its developers.

Warzone 2’s Building 21 access: Intentional or a Bug?

Players are being unable to access Building 21 in Warzone 2 DMZ mode and encounter a message ” missing DLC pack” when trying to access the POI. The Twitter page “Warzone 2.0 Interactive Tactical Map” posted a screenshot of a conversation with Activision support to their account. The screenshot showed a player enquiring about the access of Building 21. In the email, he received about his inquiry, the game representative stated that players need to purchase Modern Warfare 2 to access Building 21.

However, the game’s Treebo page said otherwise. The situation of not being able to access Building 21 was listed as a bug and put under investigation. This makes it seem that denying access to Building 21 was not intentional. People have been speculating it to be a bug, as no information was released by developers. So players have to wait and see till Activision releases any statement regarding this issue.
