Terms of services of streaming platforms have been known to be linked with controversy. The debate on what dictates the moral high ground between fans and the mega-platforms always clashes. Many streamers are familiar with this and once again, Kick streamer Adin Ross enters into the limelight.

Streamers are faced with temporary or even permanent bans for crossing the terms. Most times, fans speculate whether the punishment was deserved or overly given to streamers. It can be hard to regulate the norms in such big platforms as the room for error is huge. This is the reason why many streamers and viewers are moving to Kick, as it supposedly is more relaxed on its terms. However, Adin Ross is on the pursuit to break these lenient guidelines too.

On August 1st, Kick streamer Adin Ross had done the unthinkable and once again decided to violate Kick’s policy. Not the first time, but AGAIN. While he had thousands of viewers on his stream, a piece of sexual content appeared. This was during his segment where he was on the website, Monkey.app. This live video-chat platform is similar to Omegle.

Now although Adin isn’t to be entirely blamed for the sexual display of strangers on the internet, he is partial to be blamed. The anonymity and randomness of the content to be expected, does put a risk as to what you will experience in the app. In this case, sexual display crosses the terms of services of streaming platforms.

Similarly, he had previously had sexual content displayed on his stream on Kick. Kick however had let him off the hook. It will be interesting to see how Kick will react this time if they will at all. As this would be the second time Adin repeated this violation, will Kick take a strong stance against the alleged $100+ million streamer they signed themselves?

The irony is how streamers would boast about the freedom that Kick offers in their terms of service. This risk that Adin poses has even escalated the matter previously, as Kick’s CEO even admitted in an interview, that Adin is a “brand -risk”. Adin Ross is a familiar case of violating regulations. His appearance on Kick itself was prompted by it. Now it’s time to see if these same actions will prompt away from Kick, if not completely out of it.
