Asmongold highlighted that this feature has been followed by Twitch, his streaming platform and has also helped it to ensure a steady flow of revenue.

Ever since Tesla’s owner announced that he has fulfilled the complete takeover on Twitter for $44 million, prominent content creators are not missing out on an opportunity to interact with the businessman. Initially, fans found Jimmy ‘MrBeast‘ Donaldson advising Elon Musk how he can make ‘Vine’ better than TikTok if he wishes to bring the short video platform back.

Following MrBeast, we also found Herschel Guy Beahm aka Dr DisRespect to start a scanning process for the users who wish to get verified on Twitter. This tweet was apparently made in the Twitter thread of Stephen King and Elon Musk who were against and for of the verification payment on Twitter respectively.

As content creators are trying to engage with him and provide their suggestions, Elon Musk on his part is willing to reward content creators based on the revenue stream that will be received from the verification payment.

Fans react to Asmongold’s suggestion

One of the fans exclaimed that this might be the worst idea as the reason for charging people for verification status is to confirm them as ‘verified’ and avoid spam or bot on Twitter but if this payment is gifted, then the whole point of charging people for verification becomes useless.

However, some agreed to the idea claiming that privileged users can gift the payment to the people who have the talent to interact with the authority. While it is not known whether Elon Musk will allow this feature, the only thing that can be confirmed as of now that the business tycoon is not backing out from his decision of charging for verification amidst backlashes.
