“You’re not helping anyone,” Asmongold provides his take on viewers harassing streamers for playing Hogwarts Legacy

Zack ‘Asmongold’ has tagged along with streamers such as xQc to lash out at the people bullying streamers for playing Hogwarts Legacy. In his recent Twitch broadcast, he checked out the clip of ‘GirlfriendReviews’ where he explained that his chat went to the extent of making her girlfriend cry, as he was playing Hogwarts Legacy.

Reacting to this clip, the OTK co-owner expressed his disappointment at the situation. He explained that it is natural for the streamer’s girlfriend to be upset about this as there are always going to be such people on the platform. “There’s probably a lot of people that come into the chat that are harassing them, that don’t even care about this issue,” Asmon added.

Continuing further, Asmongold termed these viewers as ‘random a**holes’ who make every possible effort to provide a justification of their aggressive behaviour towards someone. In the latter part of his livestream, he gave out advice to deal with such negative people on the platform.

Asmongold suggests how streamers can handle ‘Hogwarts Legacy’ boycotters

Twitch viewership has risen since the arrival of Hogwarts Legacy. Prominent streamers are provided with early access by the developers so that they can stream the game. However, viewers supportive of the transgender community are harassing these streamers.

An example of this was seen recently when Twitch streamer ‘GirlfriendReviews’ got harassed to the point where his partner was left in tears. Both xQc and Asmongold have expressed their strong opposition to this, where the latter streamer tweeted-

"Shocking to me that people think the way to protest Hogwarts Legacy is to bully and harass those who are playing/streaming it. No one likes this You're not helping anyone, you're just being a piece of sh*t."

On his live stream, he advised the streamers who have decided to play Hogwarts Legacy, to block the rude comments. “Just instantly ban them. Give them no attention, and anybody else who complains about it, ban them too,” Asmongold mentioned after stating that streamers should not invest their emotional energy in this.

Asmongold shared his reaction video on YouTube where users highlighted how online activities are becoming pointless. They also praised the description given by the streamer on this issue.

The World of Warcraft streamer has taken an active interest in playing Hogwarts Legacy. Just like xQc, he has taken a certain liking towards the video game based on the Harry Potter franchise.
