Asmongold reveals to his viewers how sponsored gambling streams could be stopped

After the recent sponsored gambling streams drama which took almost all big twitch streamers into the whirlwind, Asmongold revealed on his stream how he thinks they could be stopped once and for all.
After being asked about the topic multiple times on different occasions, it seemed as though the OTK co-founder was frustrated with it coming up again and again and then decided to give an answer once and for all.
Asmongold’s solution to stopping sponsored gambling streams
Back when xQc announced that he was going to be continuing sponsored gambling streams, he took the streaming world by storm, even dividing all the streamers into two different factions, the first one who said xQc was in the end, an entertainer, and he could do what he wanted to on his stream while the others said he should be more considerate about his younger audience.
Continuing this argument, Asmongold had made his stance known by saying that he was definitely against sponsored gambling streams due to the negative impact that it had on the audiences that watched him and numerous other streamers. he then vowed to never ‘sell out’ to such companies.

In one of his recent streams, Asmon was repeatedly asked what his suggestions would be to reduce or remove the aforementioned gambling streams from the platform and his answer was simple.
“Twitch could change the rules,” He said. “Twitch could say no more gambling, and they could remove the slots category today, and they could say if you stream slots, you’re getting permabanned, and that’s it.”
He further went on to say that it was a slippery slope and didn’t want his words to be taken as a somewhat official suggestion that he would want twitch to implement. “I’m not telling you this is what they should do. I’m saying this is what’s possible,”
In a clip that is available on his stream, you can hear him say “They could change that, and you don’t need a government decision for this. They don’t need anything. Like, that’s what’s possible. They could do this if they wanted to. That would get rid of the gambling. It would absolutely get rid of the gambling.”
Though the solution is indeed an extreme one but then again, as Asmongold said, it wasn’t something he though should be done, it’s just something that twitch MIGHT do in order to stop the streams.
