Recoil management is an important skill to master in any shooting game. Firing your gun causes it to kick up or sideways, which can throw your aim at your enemies. This causes you to miss your shots and vastly increases your time-to-kill (TTK). Managing recoil in BGMI becomes even more essential, considering the fast pace of the game.
Controlling recoil in BGMI requires much practice and diligence. You must also become familiar with the recoil of different guns in order to know what way you must aim to counteract the recoil.
That said, there are a few tips that beginners can use to see a huge improvement in their recoil management instantly.
Control Recoil in BGMI
Know your Weapon
As said earlier, knowing how your gun will recoil in BGMI is the first and most essential step to controlling the gun’s kick. You need not spend hours firing each gun in the practice range to familiarize yourself with them. The process will happen mostly in-game, although the practice range is a great way to boost your progress.
Prefer using the same weapons in each game. This way, you get more time to use a particular gun and, hence, become quickly familiar with it. Initially, using low-recoil weapons such as the AUG A3 is also a great way to start learning guns’ recoil in BGMI.
Sensitivity Settings
Everybody prefers to play with a different sensitivity depending on their comfort, style of play, and choice of guns. The practice range is a great tool for experimenting with various settings. As a general rule, slower sensitivities make it relatively easier to control recoil in BGMI. However, you may find yourself struggling in close quarters.
Try to find the perfect setting foryou. .You can further proceed with putting in practice controlling recoil. Changing settings frequently can impair your muscle memory when it comes to controlling recoil. Find the right balance for you, and then stick to it.
Burst Firing
Burst firing is a great way to control recoil in BGMI. Even though most guns in the game are fully automatic, firing them in bursts has an advantage. Briefly pausing after firing a few shots will bring the gun back to its original state. You can then fire your next burst.
Try this only in the medium to long ranges. Prefer shooting continuously in close-quarter encounters.
