BGMI Showdown Day 2 summary
The second day of Krafton’s first LAN event of Battlegrounds Mobile India, BGMI Showdown concluded today where fans got to see another set of action-packed performances by the twenty four teams playing in this tournament. Each team is putting in efforts at the ongoing group stage to qualify for the finals and take a step further towards the trophy.
At the end of Day 2 and six matches, OR Esports is once again maintaining their top position after accumulating 119 points in total. Following them is Team XO the second team to score more than 100 points after the second day. At the third position stands, Hyderabad Hydras with 97 points, quite close to hitting the 100 mark.

BGMI Showdown Day 2 results
While the top three teams from yesterday have maintained their overall position today, other teams such as GodLike Esports slipped down to the 8th position whereas Global Esports shone with their performance today. Here is the match-wise analysis for BGMI Showdown Day 2.
Match 1 (GROUP A and GROUP B)
The first match of the day began at the rainforest map Sanhok with teams from GROUP A and B coming together. The last zone of this match saw an intense fight between the members of GodLike, Soul and Orangutan. While Soul managed to stay with their full squad, they lost two members from knockout. Hector, however saved the team from Orangutan after finishing him to claim the win.
Match 2 (GROUP A and GROUP B)
GodLike Esports began the match with an aggressive gameplay, eliminating two squads easily. However, they were eliminated halfway through the match. TSM claimed 5 finishes in this match but was wiped at the third position. R Esports took an impressive chicken dinner in second match after defeating the last player from Global Esports.
Match 3 (GROUP C and GROUP B)
TSM again managed to add to their survival points after staying alive till the sixth position in the third match of BGMI Showdown Day 2. Revenant Esports made a comeback in this match, however, OR Esports, the top performers consecutively snatched away the chicken dinner from them. OR Aditya took the highest number of finishes in this match.
Match 4 (GROUP C and GROUP B)
Even though Nigma Galaxy was quite close to claiming the chicken dinner, the quick reflexes from the players of Hydra Official helped the team to obtain the victory. Another team FS Esports finished the scoreboard at the 2nd position after taking an impressive 9 finishes in the match.
Match 5 (GROUP C and A)
The fifth match of BGMI Showdown Day 2 took place at the deserts of Miramar. Skylightz Gaming stole the show at this match after taking repetitive fights with other teams, lastly eliminating Punkk, the sole survivor of Team XO. Skylightz Gaming’s Saumraj took the highest number of finishes for his team.
Match 6 (GROUP C and A)
The concluding match of the day was again played at Erangel where the chicken dinner was claimed by Global Esports, champions of the BGMI Masters Series. Nakul was the star of this match as he claimed a total of 7 finishes. 7Sea Esports was eliminated at the second position.
