GodLike Esports finishes as runner-up in the first-ever televised esports tournament in India, BGMI Masters Series 2022
GodLike Esports Wins the title of Runner-ups in BGMI Masters Series 2022
GodLike Esports has proven its worth once again as one of the top esports teams in India by placing second in the BGMI Masters Series 2022, presented by NODWIN gaming. This tournament was a first in the Indian subcontinent as the first-ever televised esports event, through a broadcast partnership with India’s leading broadcaster, Star Sports. GodLike Esports, represented by Numen Esports and gaming, reached the grand finale where they lost by 4 points to Global Esports and took the runner-up title on July 17, 2022.
The BGMI Masters Series 2022 started on June 24th and ended on July 17th, 2022, and featured a massive prize pool of INR 1.5 Crore. It had 24 leading Indian esports teams competing for the top spot, which featured a prize of INR 25 lakh and a brand new Hyundai car worth INR 13 lakh.
GodLike Esports becomes runner-up in BGMI Masters Series 2022
GodLike Esports were favorites for the title, owing to the skill of the team which included Jonathan, Neyooo, ZGod, Shadow, and ClutchGod. Moreover, they were being coached by Ghatak.
Over the 5 days of finals, GodLike Esports led the leaderboard twice but lost to Global Esports in the finale. The team took home the runner-up prize of INR 12 lakh and the MVP title for the tournament was awarded to Jonathan.
