Minecraft had a great year in 2021, with many patch updates as well as announcements of newer updates in the coming year. As the year is almost ending, there has been a surprise BTS x Minecraft concert in the game for the ESCAPE2021 event!
Minecraft is a very popular sand-box game where players can live out their dreams of adventure and building. Creative boundaries are forever expanding in the game and the impossible is becoming possible. This is all the more true now with actual live concerts being Minecraft-ed and being held inside the game!
The BTS x Minecraft concert came as a surprise to everyone as it was kept tightly under wraps until release. It features two songs from the popular Korean band and was definitely an incredible experience for fans of both the genres.
BTS x Minecraft concert: Butter & Permission to Dance combo performance!
The concert was a collaboration by BTS and Minecraft. The former is a world renowned South Korean boy band that debuted in 2013 and has since dominated the music space globally.

The collaboration came to reality with the ESCAPE2021 event hosted on YouTube. This event aimed at looking back at all the trends and happenings in the last year with some interactive events with their fanbase. These definitely give the fans something to look back upon and remember fondly!
The event was officially organised and designed by Noxcrew, the same group which hosts the Minecraft Championships every month, featuring streamers. Seeing as Minecraft has hit a Trillion views on YouTube and is the biggest game ever on the platform, the celebration is more than justified.

The video for the official live is now out and players can enjoy BTS members as their Minecraft personas, performing on a huge custom make stage. The models for the BTS members were all designed meticulously and had features that reflected their real life personas.
The BTS x Minecraft concert featured the band performing 2 of their very popular songs, namely “Butter” and “Permission to Dance”. The concert featured the songs back to back along with choreographed dance and also some incredible visuals using the creative freedom that Minecraft provides.
This event marks the end of the year for both the BTS and Minecraft fans, with a great 2022 ahead of them!
