Flashbangs in Modern Warfare 2 are apparently too blinding for players

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the most recent game in one of the most well-known first-person shooter franchises, offers a vast range of equipment and weaponry. These selections include a wide variety of grenades, from tactical flashbang and smoke grenades to fatal frag grenades.

Some users seem to find Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s flashbang grenades to be extremely bright and want the game to incorporate a Battlefield 2042 feature instead. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 flashbangs blind players in-game and seemingly in real life by filling the entire screen with an extremely bright white light.

In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, flashbangs are a tactical grenade that is frequently utilized, and some players are growing sick of their glaring white light. These players are requesting that Infinity Ward recreate the grenade handling in Battlefield 2042. Flashbang grenade footage from Battlefield 2042 is shown in a video that user Johnny_Tesla shared to the Modern Warfare 2 subreddit.

First, the player throws a flashbang grenade a short distance; when it explodes, a blinding light fills the screen for a few seconds before dissipating. The concussion effect in the game is then set to dark in the accessibility options. They throw another grenade after altering the settings, and this time their screen goes black.

For social media apps and websites, e-reader apps, and other applications, dark mode has become a very common setting. It was a brilliant idea to include it as an accessibility option in Battlefield games, and if Modern Warfare 2 adopts a similar feature, people would undoubtedly be pleased.

One of the major benefits of having a dark mode for Flashbangs is that it would make the game more accessible for those who are sensitive to bright lights. However, given the recent release of Season 01 Reloaded for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, it might take some time before Infinity Ward adds a new feature like this to the game.
