After a long wait, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is finally within touching distance. Fans are excited for the release of the game when it launches on October 28th. To keep the fans excited, Call of Duty released a video featuring famous celebrities like rap sensations Nicki Minaj and Lil Baby, among other famous personalities.

Modern Warfare 2 is the sequel to the 2019 rebooted MW series developed by Infinity Ward and published under the Activision banner. The game takes place three years from the events of Modern Warfare 2019. The game revolves around the elite Task Force 141. The Task Force must prevent critical situations while dealing with terrorist organizations and drug cartels.

Many video game companies release live-action trailers to promote their upcoming games. Additionally, the trailer features celebrities to impact a wider audience. Call of Duty did something similar while promoting Modern Warfare 2 to fans. In keeping with the tradition of Call of Duty live-action trailers, it’s as militant as many famous celebrities to sing the song “Squad Up” to the tune of a famous military march.

Call of Duty released the Modern Warfare 2 promotional video on social media platforms. But it were the famous personalities singing “Squad Up” in this video that caught everyone’s attention. The Modern Warfare 2 video opens with American rapper Lil Baby, followed by other famous musicians like Kane Brown and Nicki Minaj. Comedian and actor Pete Davidson also appeared in the video.

But these artists weren’t the only celebrities featured in the live-action trailer. Also in attendance were many world-class athletes, including Arsenal football star Bukayo Saka, McLaren F1 prodigy Lando Norris, and American footballers Jaren Ramsey and David Long. In addition, the famous Call of Duty team Nuke Squad from eSports organization FaZe Clan also participated in the video.
