Call of Duty: Warzone 2 DMZ’s Building 21 gets “locked down” following “significant infiltration”
Building 21 has been closed down
Building 21 in Call of Duty Warzone 2’s DMZ has been shut down following “significant infiltration,” according to Infinity Ward. On December 14, a mysterious new structure appeared as part of the Season 1 Reloaded update for Warzone 2.0, requiring keycards for entry.
These keycards appear to have been the cause of the lockdown, though Infinity Ward has not yet provided a detailed justification for why Building 21 is temporarily closing its doors. A tweet announcing the lockdown only made vague references to the reason.

Building 21 in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 has been temporarily closed
“Building 21 has entered lockdown after significant infiltration,” Infinity Ward said. “Access cards are disabled, but will be operational within the week. Prepare accordingly.” Building 21 is a temporary area that became available on December 19 in Warzone 2’s DMZ extraction mode as part of the midseason update for Season 01 Reloaded.
You can only enter the intriguing compound, a biological laboratory, by collecting keycards from various locations on the Al Mazrah map. In order to obtain some keycards, you must quickly seek out loot caches and supply drops in the game.

Building 21 in the newly available DMZ mode of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 has been closed down by developers Infinity Ward due to “significant infiltration,” but they promise that it will reopen within the next week. Since its release the game has encountered a number of bugs including one where players are locked out of the game unless they buy Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
