“They don’t get the two-time”: Dr DisRespect disappointed over Activision for neglecting him
Dr DisRespect on Call of Duty next event
Celebrating his appearance at the recently released NBA 2K23, Dr DisRespect recently concluded his last livestream a couple of hours ago. While he started the stream with PUBG: Battlegrounds, viewers found him talking about Call of Duty and their developers, Activision.
Even though The Doc has played many battle-royale games over the course of his streaming career, it can undoubtedly be said that Call of Duty remains close to his heart considering the fact that he himself was once a part of the dev team.

Dr DisRespect justifies his criticism of Call of Duty
Notwithstanding the above fact, Dr DisRespect is still the most vehement critic of Call of Duty as one would find him lashing out at the franchise often and even calling out the publishers or the technical team for copying designs from DEADROP, an upcoming game by his studio, Midnight Society.
The Doc, however, believes that he only criticizes the game because he cares about it. In the initial moments of his recent livestream, while he was playing PUBG, the streamer looked quite disappointed over the fact that people are misunderstanding him, as he, in reality, doesn’t hate Call of Duty.
“If I am not talking sh*t about your game in the most passionate ways possible, ’cause I probably don’t care about our game. When I am sitting there ripping apart Call of Duty, shredding them, it’s because I love Call of Duty, I want it to be the best. A lot of people don’t get that.”
Calling this an ‘unfortunate’ fact, Dr DisRespect even took the name of Activision, the primary publisher of the Call of Duty series, that they are not able to understand the true intentions of the streamer as he points out the mistakes in a game, only because he wants it to improve day by day.

As fans were eager to know the reason for The Doc calling out the publishers suddenly, the two-time YouTuber revealed that he is disappointed over the fact that he wasn’t invited to the ‘Call of Duty Next’ event which is scheduled on September 15th. The in-person event will be welcoming gamers across the world to showcase their upcoming releases.
"You know who doesn't get it right now? It's Activision. They don't fu*king get it. When I say they don't get it, they don't get the two-time. They used to, I don't know, I think they got some new guys working there or something, I don't know what it is."

Considering the previous relationship of Dr DisRespect with Activision, as he helped creating maps for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, the streamer was quite shocked to see himself not being invited to such a grand event.
