“I talked too much trash”: Dr DisRespect finds out the reason why he and Activision ‘split up’
Dr DisRespect sheds light on his relationship with Activision
Someone who calls himself as the most ‘ruthless and aggressive’ streamer, Dr DisRespect was seen a little out of his character on his last livestream after he found out why Activision, the publishers of Call of Duty disbanded their partnership with him.
Even though Herschel Guy Beahm has been a part of the developers team for the globally famous battle-royale title Call of Duty, he doesn’t seem to get along well with the publishers lately as fans found him being vocal about not being invited to the Call of Duty Next event that concluded yesterday.

Dr DisRespect claims Activision misunderstands him
Activision has two big titles coming up this year and fans are quite hyped up about it. Dr DisRespect is also not an exception as even though he repeatedly criticizes the game, he has time and again stated that his love for the game makes him do so as he just wants it to improve and stand out among the crowd.
This aspect was brought up again during his recent livestream when he was seen playing Apex Legends with Jack ‘CourageJD’ Dunlop. Few days ago, the Two-Time expressed his disappointment over the fact that he has not been invited to Call of Duty next event which was certainly a huge feat for the game.

He stated that Activision doesn’t get him and now he knows why he wasn’t invited to the event. The reason might be quite an expected one for some of the fans as the popular YouTuber mentioned-
"The reason why, because, and this is, this according to them, I talk too much trash about Call of Duty. It makes me think, I mean how many people talk trash about Call of Duty. How many times have I complimented? How long have I been working with the franchise for years and years and years."
Considering how critical sometimes The Doc gets when he talks about Call of Duty, it was quite surprising to see Dr DisRespect claim how close Call of Duty is to him. He asserted that the game resonated with him and went synonymous with his name-
“I mean everyone knows Doc spelt backwards is Cod (Call of Duty) and Cod spelt backwards is Doc, right, it’s in the blood.”
While Dr DisRespect did understand that the reason Activision and he doesn’t get along anymore is because he talked sh*t about the game, he also firmly added that it is not going to change how he feels. Even though he is passionate about the game, he will continue to be a stern critic as he is not going to ‘sell his soul’.

The Doc is soon going to release his game DEADROP by Midnight Studios and on this path, he has called out Activision several times for copying skins from his game or claiming that Modern Warfare is not going to work. This is one of the primary reasons why the publishers might not want to continue their partnership with the streamer.
