“It just feels solid”: Dr DisRespect impressed with COD Modern Warfare II but something still irks him
Dr DisRespect tries out Modern Warfare 2
Several streamers have been able to get their hands on the beta version of Modern Warfare 2 which is scheduled to release in the upcoming month. Dr DisRespect was one of the prominent streamers to try out the game and he took to Twitter to share his thoughts about the gameplay. While Doc was mostly impressed, there was something about the game that bothered him.
Doc is known to be critical of Call of Duty titles, but this time, most of the players and fellow content creators seem to agree with him.
Dr DisRespect gets annoyed with a feature of COD Modern Warfare II
Herschel Guy Beahm, famously known as Dr DisRespect might be one of the first streamers to be impressed by Activision’s upcoming Call of Duty title. It is also widely known that he is a stern critic of the game who won’t refrain from speaking out if the game’s features don’t impress him.
Dr DisRespect has said quite often that he feels the Call of Duty franchise might end soon as he does not have any hopes left with Modern Warfare II, the sequel to the title released in 2019. However, he decided to try out the beta version and surprisingly, he was satisfied.
“Played MW2 for the first time yesterday and I can honestly say the game feels goooood. From map design, audio, UI, flow etc., it just feels solid.”
“That SBMM… it’s horrific”

He was also seen praising the game on his September 23 livestream as he described to the viewers that the developers have been handling the weapons quite well. However, he also pointed out the one thing about the title that was bothering him: SBMM (Skill-based match making).
COD players hating SBMM is not a new thing, as fans have repeatedly expressed their disappointment over this feature. SBMM essentially allows players to play games with someone that matches their in-game skill. Other streamers such as CourageJD have also expressed how difficult it gets to play due to the SBMM.
Dr DisRespect’s claim spark off a debate
Call of Duty players have been vocal about the SBMM issue for quite a while but a high profile streamer such as Dr DisRespect mentioning it has triggered a debate. Some fans are still arguing about the advantages of SBMM as it lets everybody have a balanced map.
Most of the fans seemed to agree with Doc, as they believe that the idea of skill based match making is ridiculous as players have to work hard in order to claim a certain rank at the ranked playlist.
