“It just blows my mind man”: Dr DisRespect is critical of YouTube’s search algorithm
Dr DisRespect is disappointed on YouTube
One of the most popular Call of Duty streamer Herschel Guy Beahm, known by his internet alias ‘Dr DisRespect’ was disappointed with one of YouTube’s features. The streamer who had shifted to the platform way back in 2020 is a regular YouTuber, perhaps to mock Twitch but it seems not all of the features impress him.
The disappointment took place on his recent YouTube stream hosted for over 9 hours earlier today. The streamer was trying out Overwatch 2 today after trying out his hands on underrated games such as BioShock, later on he searched about Apex Legends on the platform where he pointed out the drawbacks in YouTube’s search algorithm.
The streamer began, “It just blows my mind man, I type in Apex trailer and a third party company is the one that shows up first and it doesn’t have the most views, the original has the most views.” He concluded his rant by saying he doesn’t understand how this algorithm works.
Dr DisRespect hits out at YouTube again
Dr DisRespect was apparently searching the trailer of Apex Legends Season 15 ‘Eclipse’ which is going to be released in a few days. Considering how the streamer plays this game on a regular basis, he would certainly not miss out on playing the new season which many fans have termed as the best season yet.
As for the streamer’s statement on YouTube’s feature, most of the fans would agree with him regarding how the search function works. It is also important to note that this isn’t the first time that the Two-Time is critical of the platform. He has previously called out YouTube for not supporting him enough.
For a streamer who remains unabashed while stating something, Dr DisRespect has not left Twitch as well when it comes to mocking. Calling it as the purple snake platform, he has criticized the amount of ads that are shown while checking someone’s livestream or a video on Twitch.
Nevertheless, The Doc is unlikely to change his platform considering the steady amount of viewership he maintains on the platform on a regular basis. However, this fact cannot be denied that he would remain critical about the features of both YouTube and Twitch.
