“Bunch of slimy guys over here”: Dr DisRespect lashes out at Warzone devs for “stealing” DEADROP skin
Dr Disrespect minced no words while calling out Activision for their actions
Dr Disrespect has recently alleged that the developers of Call of Duty: Warzone have stolen the concept art of his game DEADROP in a skin found in their game. The YouTube Gaming sensation brought this up when a viewer asked for his thoughts on the game.
The “Two-Time Champion” went on to claim that Activision also stole the fiction of one of the characters of DEADROP and said that he’s not really interested in Warzone, pointing out how ugly looking the game was.

Dr DisRespect calls out Activision over “stolen” concept art
DEADROP is an FPS game developed by Dr DisRespect’s own game studio, Midnight Society. As a bonus for the players who had played DEADROP when it was in early access, they all were offered “VisorCortex IDs”, which are basically NFTs which could also be used as visor skins in the game, making the design your unique avatar.
Last month, Activision released a new skin bundle called the Malware Ultra skin bundle, but fans of both the games were quick to point out how the skin bore an uncanny resemblance to a skin belonging to the studio head at Midnight Society, Robert Bowling, also known as FourZeroTwo. The dev acknowledged the fiasco by posting the following cryptic tweet-

"Warzone, not interested. Look how ugly this game is. They stole a fiction from one of our concept arts, just like they stole a fiction of one of our characters. You know what I mean? A bunch of slimy guys over here, and I don't like them. I don't like, I don't like, I don't like them.
Fans were divided over this, some supporting the claim as Activision has also had past accusations over stealing intellectual property, while some dismissed the whole incident as a mere coincidence, pointing out that the DEADROP skin in question had a rather generic sci-fi look and feel.
